Viewers of public television will get a chance to watch how music from Warcraft and Final Fantasy stands up next to the Boston Pops.
PBS stations across the country will air Video Games Live Starting in July, it is a special music program based on Tommy Tallarico’s touring videogame.
Video Games Live is concert series which filters the sounds of videogames through a full-blown orchestra. The show debuted in late 2004 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
The 91-minute long TV special will feature orchestrated performances of songs from a large number of famous videogames like Super Mario Bros and Halo.
