Registration for PAX East has been started since April, if you love videogames and haven’t been to PAX East, you’re missing out.
PAX East is a 3-day gaming convention organized by the webcomic empire Penny Arcade, that will happen in Boston from about March 25-27. Nightly concerts will cap off each day’s festivities, which will include tons of game playing, panels featuring industry insiders and an exhibition hall full of swag and game demos.
Consider no matter what fears we had that the show floor might suffer because of distance from San Francisco and Seattle assuaged. It said, I wish this list of gaming heavy hitters will be supplemented by smaller east coast gaming concerns. One of the highlights of the PAX Seattle show floor in months past has been seeing local table-top outfits like Privateer Press alongside booths for Fallout three and Left four Dead two.
I would like to see PAX expand its musical schedule. These regulars are not normal, but more time given to chiptunes and remix artists like Team Teamwork would go a long way towards broadening the musical horizons of players.
The show sells out every month, so act quickly.
